Hive Metrics is built to keep your beekeeping records private.
What we collect: Nothing. Hive Metrics does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. We have no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking.
Where your data lives: Everything you enter — apiary sites, hives, photos, inspection and treatment records, feeding logs, harvests, reminders, flowering notes, equipment, and any income or expense entries — is stored only on your own device. It never leaves your phone.
Photos: Any hive photos you add are stored on your device with the rest of your data and are not uploaded anywhere.
Contacting the developer: If you use the “Message the developer” feature, your own email app opens a message addressed to us. We only ever receive what you choose to type and send.
Deleting your data: Uninstalling Hive Metrics permanently removes all of its data from your device.
Children: The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.
Changes: If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
